Thomas Boodts (piano)

Thomas Boodts was 5 years old when he started with music. After taking piano lessons with his father, he went to the Royal Conservatory in Antwerp. He also took masterclasses in Italy, Norway and France (Paris) and was laureate of many international and national piano competitions.

Thomas will perform works by Frederic Chopin and Emmanuel Durlet.

Kiyotaka IZUMI (piano)

The magnificent pianist Kiyotaka Izumi has been a guest at our recitals on several occasions and many of Durlet's works have been performed by him on CD. (His new CD is for sale at 15€ )
This time he presents his new CD with works by 18th century Flemish harpsichordists Josse Boutmy, J.H. Fiocco and J.J. Robson, in the piano version by Emmanuel Durlet.

In addition to Maurice Ravel and Frederic Chopin, an original work by Emmanuel Durlet is also on the programme.

Performance of the 2 “Runners-up” of the “International Violin Competition Emmanuel Durlet 2021”


Polina Chernova is a Russian pianist. Born into a musical family, five-year-old Polina already received piano lessons from her mother and at the age of seven she won her first prize in a Russian competition. At the age of eight she gave her first solo recital. Graduated from the Volgograd Art Institute with the greatest distinction, she continued her studies at the Royal Conservatory in Antwerp with Eliane Rodrigues.

Nika TOŠKAN (violin)

Maarten LINGIER (piano)

Performance by the well-known Limburg pianist and composer Maarten Lingier, who amazed us very early on with his youthful piano recital.

Maarten studied at the Conservatory of Amsterdam and from 2015 at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp where he graduated "cum laude". He then won First Prize in Composition at the Ecole Normale de Musique in Paris.
